Principles of voice production and Vocal technique in performance

Breathing
Correct breathing can help you to be the best singer you can be. Not only will it help you sing but breathing correctly will help you relax for those tense moments when the spotlight's on you.Breathing while singing does require your stomach to go out. Breathing is from the diaphragm and if done correctly it does cause your stomach to expand a bit. That's the natural way you breath and the proper way to breath when singing. If you stomach is going in while breathing, you are causing tension in your stomach and constricting air.
For example when we do our voice warm up and I hear the difference with voice,my voice goes loud and I released that I don't struggle with my breathing unless do it too long.

Larynx

Larynx external en.svg
The larynx or voice box sits on top of the windpipe. It contains two vocal folds also known as vocal cords that open during breathing and close during swallowing and voice production.
Larynx is basically manipulates pitch and volume, the Larynx house the vocal cord which are essential for phonation.
Pitch is determined by the length and tension of the vocal folds, which are controlled by muscles in the larynx. Before you perform it's good to do a warm up on Larynx because it's your voice project.
Working on your Larynx it really improve the way project your voice , it help your voice to be loud and clear and makes it more powerful.
For my experience doing some of the warm up for example doing the humming sound and letting out a AH sound , it really good exercise for the Larynx.

Vocal cords
Vocal folds are located within the larynx at the top of the trachea. Open when breathing and vibrating for speech or singing, the folds are controlled They vibrate, modulating the flow of air being expelled from the lungs during phonatio .
.For example when you do the humming sound you can feel the vibration on your nose and your lips.

The tongue and teeth
When your doing a voice warm or singing you always have to put your tongue bottom teeth  useful when you are trying to reach certain lower tones or when you are carefully pronouncing certain letters ,you need to make sure your jaw hanging .You can do an exercise that involve tongue-twister .

Resonance
Resonance as it’s sometimes called is a feeling of pressure or buzzing in either the chest, the neck or different areas in the skull. Resonance is vibrations that create tone through and within your mouth, throat,  For example a stern vocal quality can be felt to resonate strongly in the chest. The resonance singer to fill a large hall with sound without electronic amplification.

articulation
The formation of a speech sound by constriction of the air flow in the vocal organs at a particular place e.g. the tongue, teeth, or palate and in a particular way as a plosive, affricate and clarity in the production of successive notes.
it's also good to do the tongue-twister exercise because it improve your vocabulary and the
way you perform.

Diaphragm
When you breathe in, or inhale, your diaphragm contracts (tightens) and moves downward. This increases the space in your chest cavity, into which your lungs expand and it's a sheet of muscle that is based on your lung and supports your breathe and your voice .
Some of the warm up you  had to do a breathing technique which help with the diaphragm for example there a technique when you have to breath in for three second and  breathe out on 'sh', 's' and 'f' and also had to Count to 5,10,15.
What learnt about my voice is that it's start go get loud because of the warm up we doing in boot camp.
